Racing Métro set to resign Juan Imhoff for two years

Argentine international winger, Juan Imhoff is suggested by French social media to be staying on in Paris after agreeing to terms of a new two year contract with Racing Métro. Though there is no official confirmation at this stage it is understood that Racing Métro and Imhoff have reached an agreement and it will become official latter this month. Imhoff arrived at the club as a medical joker in place of the injured pair of Benjamin Fall and Mirco Bergamasco. He was quickly able to break into the starting XV and has been a relevation for the club, scoring impressive tries in both the Top 14 Orange and Heineken Cup. His form has his place in The Rugby Championship not only confirmed but he is likely to start for his country on the left wing as he has shown to be Argentina´s best finisher this season as his tries for Racing Métro have more often than not been solo efforts rather than team tries.

Having earlier indicated that he had offers to play elsewhere, Imhoff said he would stay on at Racing Métro to continue playing with Juan Martín Hernández. The Pumas flyhalf has been injury free as of late and playing well for the Parisians. It is expected that Racing Métro will announce a new contract with Hernández shortly.
