Jebb Sinclair to play one month of Super Rugby

Canadian international forward Jebb Sinclair has been recruited by South African Super Rugby side, the Stormers on a short term deal. He is avaliable despite being under contract with London Irish due to the teams elimination from the Aviva Premiership. As such he is to fill a void left from the injury to the likes of Schalk Burger, Nick Koster and Duane Vermeulen. The contract is for the next four matches after which Sinclair will be playing for his country with Canada taking on the USA, Georgia and Italy in international matches next month. Sinclair will then return to England to playt the 2012-2013 Aviva Premiership season with London Irish.

The Canadian giant has played 21 international matches for Canada since making his debut vs Portugal in 2008. Usually a backrower, Canada used him in the secondrow in the World Cup with him playing in all four matches, scoring a try vs Tonga. Sinclair was one of the three Canadian Beardos at the World Cup. He was also impressive for Canada in the World Cup warm-up matches, scoring a try vs the USA in Toronto playing in the backrow.  The Stormers have contracted him to be used as a backrower.
