A massive tackle took place in a match last month which was brought to the attention of Argentina2023. The tackle was made by a player named Pablo Celis who was playing for the Guadalajara University club of ITESO against ITESM of Monterrey. His tackle was lacking technique but the much larger player, Celis, nonetheless used his size to his advantage as he crushed the ball carrier.The game was part of the 2012 CONADEIP tournament which features private university teams from across Mexico. It took place in Mexico City at the Universidad Iberoamericana with the host university winning the tournament.
